Chris Hoffman
Dr. Hoffman grew up in the Boston area, but ultimately came to the Seattle area for the amazing outdoor features and activities, not to mention the milder weather! He lives north of the city with his wife, daughters, and myriad pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, goats, a tortoise named Darwin, and horses named Oz and Po. He looks forward to meeting your pet(s) and working with you to keep them healthy and happy.
Dr. Hoffman has loved animals from early childhood. He grew up with dogs and cats always in the house and spent countless hours with his grandmother visiting the zoo watching the big cats, elephants, and all the small mammals, birds and reptiles of the children’s zoo. During his undergraduate years at UMASS Boston he worked as a dog walker and upon graduation he took a job as a surgical technician. Working with so many great veterinarians inspired him to make it his profession and he enrolled at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, he completed a year-long internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle, gaining immeasurable experience in the ER, as well as in the internal medicine, neurology, and surgery departments. He have been practicing in the Greater Seattle area since then.
“What I love about the veterinary profession is simple: being able to help animals feel better and stay healthy. I love coming to work each day at Frontier Village Veterinary Clinic because I get to do what I love and work with wonderful people who share my passion. In fact, it is because of the great staff here at FVVC that I chose to practice here with them. My passions in veterinary medicine include surgery, dentistry, and preventative medicine. ”
