Frontier Village Veterinary Clinic Alisa Huckell

Associate Veterinarian

Alisa Huckell

Dr. Alisa Huckell was born and raised in Washington State. When she was 7 years old she decided she was going to be a vet.  She began volunteering for a veterinary hospital when she was 14 years old, becoming an employee by age 15.

After high school she attended Washington State University and completed undergraduate degrees in Zoology and Microbiology. Her veterinary studies took her to Ross University on the island of St. Kitts, in the West Indies. She learned what ‘island time’ means and lived through 2 hurricanes in her first semester of studies. Although she loves being back home in the Pacific Northwest, she misses the warm Caribbean sunshine! She completed her clinical year of training at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, New York.

Dr. Huckell practiced in the Mill Creek and Bothell area for 7 years prior to joining the Frontier Village team in 2011. She enjoys the variety of general practice and especially feels privileged to be a part of her clients and patients lives.

Her family shares their home with their cat Frigate, and Jeremy, a golden retriever lab mix. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, photography, and traveling (especially to those warm sunny places!).
