Dr. Clare Gainey joined our doctor team in July 2022 immediately after graduating from vet school at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gainey is originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, and got her Bachelors in Cell and Molecular Biology at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. She and her husband have called 6 different states home so far during her husband's military career and are enjoying everything the PNW has to offer during their time here. 

Dr. Gainey has a passion for internal medicine and end of life care. It's her goal to have owners understand their pet, even in light of a difficult or complex diagnosis. She is honored to be a voice for the voiceless and educate owners in an effort to preserve the human-animal bond. She feels fortunate to have found such a supportive group of doctors at Frontier Village that truly love what they do. 

When not working, Dr. Gainey enjoys running - both recreationally and after her one year old little boy. She loves to listen and play music, and snuggle up with her shelter pup, Chestnut. She and her husband are avid football fans and love everything about the fall football season.
